Repair-friendly mechanisms and hands-on mechanical development for FIRST Tech Challenge.
I used Onshape to design modular, repair-friendly mechanisms, fabricated components, and investigated mechanical failures through testing. The work connected digital design to practical assembly, service access, and performance on the robot.
The team’s Ultimate Goal robot combined a wheeled ring intake, guided transfer path, shooter, and game-piece claw. These team-developed subsystems had to fit, function, and be maintained together.
Team 11260 earned the 2021 Colorado Inspire Award. I also participated at the 2022 FIRST Championship in Houston, where the team was the first team selected on the championship-winning alliance. These achievements reflect the entire team’s work.
